She is gone.....Home.

" This should have been started while she was still here in NY and I will finish this now that she back home. I wanted her to have this to read while she was here." "She was here in NY for My Birthday and I was too busy loving her just like it say in the song by Robert Palmer- She Makes My Day." I had started this on the way home after kissing her goodbye at the airport.

"It's 7:30pm and you are on a plane going home. I have just gotten home. I watched you until the crowds swallowed you up. Then the sounds of the world came back, to fill my ears. You slowly disappeared like the setting sun. I wanted to stand there until your plane took off. But I could hear your voice in my ears - "Sweetie- Go Home and get some rest, I'm fine and I Love you. I passed a huge picture window and I could see planes waiting to take off sitting at the gates. I took pictures of them and of a plane that was headed towards the runways. I had one last thing to do before I left the airport. ( I really had to go to the bathroom, I had been holding since you and I got to the airport and talked one more time face to face.) After that I went back to the picture window and watched planes taxi and take off. I headed to where I could get the bus back to Manhattan. I found a place to stand & wanted to send you a "text message". As the bus filled with people and rumbled, bounced, stopped short and made wide turns. I took some pictures of the clouds from the window of the bus. The music that I was playing on my Ipod was drowning out the noise that the bus made and the people that were talking behind me until I got a seat. The sights of "the hood" and the HHN (Hip Hop Nation) walking the streets were just "white noise" to me. I could close my eyes and see her smiling & waving to me. In the corner room 1775 of the World Famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. This is where I shared my love, desire, passion, laughter and Nilla wafers with "Thumper". On a rainy Friday night, she came to Ny and to me. Even though she was here another reason. But seeing her and spending time with me was the main thing. To Be Continued................
